Greg: I told you the pranks I did to Rowley, right? I also have a younger brother named Manny. I NEVER do this kind of jokes to him. My parents protect him as if he is a prince. Manny never gets in trouble although he well deserves it. Yesterday, Manny draw his own portrait on the door of my room. And with a permenant marker! I thought that my parents would scold him but I was wrong as usual.
Parents: Oh my God!

Greg: But, the thing that bothers me the most is the name Manny calls me. When he was a baby, he used to call me a brothy as he couldn't say brother. And he STILL calls me that! I told my parents many times before to make him stop saying it, but who listens to me?
Fortunately, non of my friends know about this. I almost got caught on it though.

Greg: My mom wants me to help her set Manny up for school. When I prepare his breakfast, Manny takes his cereal bowl, goes into the living room and sits on his plastic chair. When it's time to go to school, he gets up and empties his left over into the toilet bowl. My mom always scolds me for not finishing breakfast. Would she still be hungry if she had to remove the corn flakes which got stuck underneath the armchair?

This book is aimed for young readers. However, there is a nice thing about this book which makes it also readable for older readers. The book is consisted of different very episodes / parts which are full of jokes. In the book we learn about the days which are quite funny and amusing. The language used in this book is not formally used. Moreover, I think that the book can be translated to any languages, because since it includes jokes which do not require high level of intellectuality, it could be very easy to translate the whole work into the target language. On the other hand, it could be a little bit challenging since one would have to know those small details about idioms, proverbs, daily language use and words which represent an action such as "Smackkk!" , "Splasshhh" ,"Splaaatt" or "Phew!!" and the words which represent the noises animals make such as "oink oink" or " neigh!!"
